Fujifilm Introduces Event Photo System

FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. today announced that it will unveil its new Fujifilm Event Photo System at the Photo Marketing Association Show 2007 in Las Vegas. Fujifilm's Event Photo System software automatically incorporates images into templates and transfers them to Fujifilm's ASK-2000 digital photo printer for high speed printing, without any operator intervention. The Event Photo System is made complete by adding any digital camera for image capture, such as the Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro.

Vivitar today announced they will be showing five new digital cameras at PMA 2007 (Booth C226) including a 6.0 megapixel underwater model. The new cameras include the DVR530, a 5.0-megapixel model with TV capture, MP3, and Webcam capability; the X625 model with 10.0-megapixels and 6x optical zoom lens; the 6385u featuring an ultra slim body, 6.0-megapixel resolution and 3x optical zoom lens; the 7388s featuring a large 3.0" LCD display, 7.0-megapixel resolution and 3x optical zoom; and the 6200W - a waterproof 6.0-megapixel model designed for use in all weather conditions. FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. and Verizon Wireless this week announced Verizon Wireless has joined the Fujifilm Get the Picture Online Service Network, one of the largest online retail print service networks in the photofinishing industry. Through this relationship, Verizon Wireless customers can now print digital camera phone and digital camera pictures directly from Verizon Wireless' picture sharing online site, Pix Place, to any participating retail photofinisher. The Get the Picture Online Service Network contains more than 10,000 retail locations for camera phone and digital camera photo printing, including Walgreens, Longs Drugs and Ritz Camera.
