Rebate checks can now be cashed. Returned checks will be replaced and return charges reimbursed. Canon has updated its Rebate Info page following the bankruptcy filing of Continental Promotion Group, which was handling its rebate claims. At issue are a number of rebate checks issued by CPG. Canon EOS 5D Mark II Found at Beijing RetailerNovember 22nd, 2008
A user on DPReview's forums, tolive, has posted proof (photograph) that the Canon EOS 5D Mark II has arrived in Beijing, China. It looks as if the Canon EOS 5D Mark II with 24-105mm IS L lens will be the first to ship and hopefully is still on target for retail delivery here in the U.S. by the end of November.
